We used our imaginations to rethink how an Air Max 97 could feel?without changing how it looked. Made with little feet in mind, the outsole is more flexible than previous editions so kids can spring like a kangaroo and sprint like a cheetah. We also swapped out the layers of stiff materials around the foot with a soft woven fabric and printed detail. This kids-specific Air-Sole unit under cushy foam helps provide stability and flexibility where developing feet need them most. Elastic laces and an internal stretchy strap make it easy to slip your shoes on and get going. Tread is made with non-marking rubber and flexible grooves and cutouts so you can run, stop and go on more surfaces.
